The DiGA report of the GKV-Spitzenverband has been the talk of the town lately. However, one aspect has hardly been discussed so far: The DiGA prescription iceberg – at least the part of it that is not visible.

What is it all about?

A large proportion of the DiGA prescriptions issued are not yet received by the health insurers because many patients do not submit their prescriptions. For DiGA manufacturers, this means a lot of untapped potential. There are several ways to leverage this, such as:

• Education among HCPs and patients on the DiGA prescribing process.
• A submission service for DiGA prescriptions
• A free trial period for DiGA use.
