Reimbursable care apps are the next evolutionary step in the digitization of care.
In the care sector, there is great need for intelligent digital tools. While many manufacturers bring innovative ideas to the table which may mitigate the massive shortages of capacity, not all are eligible as DiPA. The DiPA framework sets strict guidelines and expectations to a DiPA’s product profile. We verify to which extent existing concepts will be eligible as DiPAs and explain the regulatory environment: From technical and evidence requirements, to pricing regulations with crucial impact on the ability to launch the DiPA.
Getting ready to submit for your DiPA listing can be a challenge – mastering the review process an even bigger one.
Bringing an innovative concept to paper and sufficiently describing all relevant aspects can be a challenge – as seen in the familiar DiGA fast-track process. With these learnings in mind, Digital Oxygen supports upcoming DiPA manufacturers in all their exchanges with the competent authority BfArM: From guidance before and during consultation meetings, reviews of the submission documents before send-out, and close guidance during the intense review process. Knowing that sometimes it’s not so much about what you say, but how you say it.
