After Digital Health Applications (DiGA), Digital Care Applications (DiPA) will now find their way into care. The digital care modernization act (DVPMG) has laid a solid base. The aim is to strengthen the autonomy of outpatients and to innovate the way care is being provided by services and relatives. The expected user base in the medium term corresponds to 10% of all outpatients in Germany. With the new legal framework many possibilities open for manufacturers to support this target group with their own DiPA concepts. The approval details of the BfArM are expected to be released by the end of this year. But even before their availability, there is already a lot of preparatory work to be done. We are happy to advise you on this.
Preparation for DiPA Regulation
Even if the DiPA regulation has not yet been published, the industry finds itself in an atmosphere of departure.
There is already a lot to do for potential providers. During this time, we support companies in making their future digital care application and related value propositions fit for the known requirements and explain the background and goals of the Digital Supply and Care Modernization Act (DVPMG).
The DiPA regulation is set to be released in Summer/Autumn 2021.
Once it is available, we will provide all relevant information on this page – so stay tuned.
