Ich bin offen gestanden auch ganz froh, damit heute nicht ganz alleine zu sein, denn irgendwie bin ich \u2013 um ein Filmzitat zu bem\u00fchen \u2013 gerade \u201emit der Gesamtsituation unzufrieden\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Einerseits: Es wird Fr\u00fchling, die kurze Zeit der mitteldicken \u00dcbergangsjacken ist angebrochen, die Temperaturen steigen. Aber andererseits: Meine Stimmung mag nicht so recht mitgehen. Sicher, allein die aktuellen internationalen Konflikte w\u00e4ren hier schon eine mehr als ausreichende Erkl\u00e4rung. Aber auch hier zu Lande \u2026 l\u00e4uft es irgendwie nicht wirklich rund. Wissen Sie, ich habe nie besonderen Gefallen am sprichw\u00f6rtlichen \u201eNationalstolz\u201c gefunden \u2013 aber ich m\u00f6chte auch nicht verhehlen, dass die Au\u00dfen-Wahrnehmung um die herausragende deutsche Ingenieurskunst, um unverr\u00fcckbare P\u00fcnktlichkeit, um Effizienz, um bedingungslose Qualit\u00e4t, eben um: \u201eMade In Germany\u201c, meine Brust schon ab und an leicht hat anschwellen lassen: \u201eWir scheinen da offenbar etwas richtig zu machen, so gut sogar, dass andere zu uns auf- und von uns abschauen.\u201c Doch wie sagt man Neudeutsch so sch\u00f6n: \u201eReality hits hard\u201c. Der Berliner Flughafen, Stuttgart 21, eine desolate Bundeswehr, geradezu verzweifelt anmutende Versuche, eine digitale Verwaltung aufzubauen. Meine stolzgeschwellte Brust fiel Kubikmillimeter um Kubikmillimeter in immer tieferer Demut zusammen. Meine pers\u00f6nliche Nemesis: Wie Sie sich sicher denken k\u00f6nnen, hilft es da so gar nicht, wenn man sich wie ich hauptberuflich mit dem deutschen Gesundheitssystem besch\u00e4ftigt.<\/p>\n<p>Aber die Zahlen l\u00fcgen eben leider nicht: Von der Vorstellung, in Deutschland in einem \u201eder besten Gesundheitssysteme der Welt\u201c zu leben, muss sich vorerst verabschieden, wer es nicht schon l\u00e4ngst getan hat. Oder zumindest: \u00dcberdenken, was denn \u201edas beste Gesundheitssystem\u201c dann \u00fcberhaupt sein soll. \u201eTeuer\u201c ja. Gemessen an anderen Volkswirtschaften geben wir geradezu exorbitant hohe Summen pro Person und Jahr f\u00fcr die Gesundheitsversorgung aus. Das Problem: So richtig Wirkung zeigen wollen diese Investitionen nicht: \u201eSchlusslicht bei der Lebenserwartung, Spitzenreiter bei den Ausgaben\u201c durfte ich erst neulich auf einer Konferenz-Leinwand lesen: 81,2 Jahre durchschnittliche Lebenserwartung, teuer erkauft f\u00fcr \u2013 im Jahr 2019 \u2013 6.418 $ pro Kopf. Die einen bekommen eine vergleichbare Lebenserwartung deutlich g\u00fcnstiger hin, etwa UK oder Griechenland. Und andere wiederum geben \u00e4hnlich viel wie wir pro Kopf aus und kommen damit auf eine wesentlich h\u00f6here Lebenserwartung \u2013 so etwa der Statistik-Primus: Die Schweiz. Mit vergleichbaren Ausgaben wie hierzulande lebt der Durchschnittsschweizer ganze 4,4 Jahre l\u00e4nger als Otto Normalverbraucher bei uns.<br \/>\nSchon wieder also. Schon wieder r\u00fcttelt eine Statistik an den Fundamenten des deutschen USP: Der Effizienz. Ganz offensichtlich haben wir \u2013 nicht einmal jetzt bei all den Haushalts-Herausforderungen \u2013 ein Finanzierungsproblem. Wir setzen unser Geld nur ineffizient ein. Nat\u00fcrlich habe ich mich in blinder Verdr\u00e4ngungswut sofort auf die Suche nach alternativen Erkl\u00e4rungen gemacht: Warum sonst k\u00f6nnte etwa das Schweizer Gesundheitssystem noch effizienter als das Deutsche sein? Und tats\u00e4chlich: Die Qualit\u00e4t der Nachbarschaft, das soziale Umfeld, eine allgemein h\u00f6here Zufriedenheit mit dem eigenen Leben und \u2013 nat\u00fcrlich \u2013 eine Milch- und K\u00e4se-reiche Ern\u00e4hrung wurden allesamt \u2013 mal mehr mal weniger wissenschaftlich \u2013 als Einflussfaktoren auf ein langes Schweizer Leben identifiziert. Neben diesen \u2013 ganz offensichtlich ausschlaggebenden \u2013 Faktoren w\u00fcrde ich der Vollst\u00e4ndigkeit halber aber gerne noch einen weiteren Faktor in den Ring werfen: Digitalisierung. Denn ja: Die Schweiz gibt etwa so viel wie Deutschland pro Kopf aus, ist im Bereich der Digitalisierung aber ein gutes St\u00fcck weiter als wir: Beim Digitalisierungsgrad Europ\u00e4ischer L\u00e4nder gl\u00e4nzt Deutschland eher verhalten mit einem Index von 52,9 \u2013 w\u00e4hrend die Schweiz direkt hinter D\u00e4nemark mit einem Wert von 69,3 f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Die L\u00f6sung vieler Probleme unseres Gesundheitswesens ist es also nicht, entweder wie von Vielen gefordert Geld einzusparen oder wie von fast genauso Vielen gefordert mehr Geld auszugeben, sondern wie von leider wenigen gewollt mit Hilfe der Digitalisierung unser Gesundheitswesen effizienter zu machen \u2013 also mit jedem ausgegeben Euro einen h\u00f6heren Wirkungsgrad zu erzielen.<\/p>\n<p>In diesem Sinne: Kr\u00f6nchen richten und los geht\u2019s. Ich lade jetzt im Sinne einer h\u00f6heren Lebenszufriedenheit erstmal unsere Nachbarn zu Milch und K\u00e4se ein \u2013 und wenn noch Zeit ist, r\u00fchre ich weiter die Werbetrommel f\u00fcr die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen.
