Mobile Connectivity Strategy
Our goal is to find the best connectivity solution for our clients – not sell our own product. Always in the best interest of our clients, reliable and without sugar coating. We act as independent architects of your connectivity solution: We lay out your options, advise you on technical requirements, explain their implications, find the right partners and vendors, and make sure that all pieces form an exceptional solution in the end. ⬢

MVNO Builder
We build MVNOs from scratch.
Becoming an MVNO can make sense for all types of companies: Starting with communication companies that want to offer their own telco plans to brand and communities aiming to retain their base with free mobile data. Enterprises can benefit from lower connectivity costs and higher flexibility: more options to purchase connectivity, better leverage in price negotiations, and more control of the technical implementation.
Depending on the connectivity use case, there is a variety of implementation options and possible partners. Together with our clients, we find the best fit, develop the market entry options, plan, and calculate the product offering, support commercialization, and take care of all necessary administrative work.

IoT And M2M Connectivity
Connected devices need – connectivity.
Whether you are connecting smart meters, machinery, vehicles, or healthcare products: we support our clients on the path to finding the right connectivity solution for their use case: From selecting the right connectivity hardware and connectivity management platform, to evaluating security requirements and cloud-based add-on services.
Depending on your specific device use case and deployment location, we find trustworthy, future-proof partners and help you navigate regulatory requirements and technology standards.

Mobile Consumer IoT
Mobile Consumer IoT – an opportunity for real ARPU increase.
The Apple Watch is a prime example for the category of Mobile Consumer IoT: Personal, mobile connected devices – with the end-user managing and paying the connectivity. Mobile Consumer IoT is a unique opportunity for telcos and OEMs: With potential additional ARPUs of 1-5€ per connected consumer device (instead of 0,1 € with M2M connectivity). However, the market is very much unchartered, as we still waiting for attractive mobile consumer IoT business models.
We are here to support telcos with their Mobile Consumer IoT strategy and OEMs to identify the relevant use cases: To create a vivid ecosystem of connectivity providers, vendors, and hardware suppliers enabling Mobile Consumer IoT – from market development, the selection of forward-thinking partners, the development of their product and value proposition to an outstanding connectivity experience.

Enterprise Connectivity
Managing connectivity – without headache.
For enterprises, connectivity is hard in various dimensions: They need reliable connectivity for their employees. Procurement needs good connectivity prices – from a variety of operators world-wide. IT needs a simple way to manage the connected devices. And all that while adhering to regional regulatory requirements. It is crucial to retain flexibility – like switching connectivity providers or replacing employee devices on short-notice.
We support our clients with finding the best solution: Defining connectivity priorities and requirements, determining the best connectivity solution for specific use cases, calculating the savings potential, and managing the implementation process.

Device Management Platform
Why it makes sense to unify connectivity and device management.
Enterprises who manage employee connectivity need a device management platform that enables device configuration, onboarding, security, administration – and connectivity management. Your employee losing their work phone on a business trip is a good example: If connectivity is integrated as part of your device management, your employee can go to any store, buy a device off-the-shelf, restore original device data, download the connectivity – and resume work within minutes. By integrating connectivity management services into existing device management platforms, enterprises can save time and effort by managing connectivity with the push of a button, centralizing expense management, and including self-service capabilities for their employees.
We not only support our clients to select and evaluate the right device management platform for their use case, but also advise them on how to integrate connectivity management services for a more holistic solution that includes value-added services.

Projects
MVNO – From Scratch
In this project, we have launched a global MVNO – from scratch: Together with brilliant partners, we have developed a market entry strategy for a product, that will hopefully change communication as we know it. We supported our client with the partner selection, gathered business, technical, and legal requirements and were responsible for the project management.
What we learned? Launching an MVNO is a hell of options. And a ton of fun.
Automotive Connectivity Strategy
Automotive and transportation companies have similar pain points when it comes to their vehicle’s connectivity: A high dependency on their connectivity provider, unnecessarily high connectivity costs, and – although standardized – an unbearable effort of onboarding or switching operators.
In this project, we exhausted all options to personalize vehicle connectivity to match client needs, as well as regulatory requirements in the deployment location. We evaluated the current cost situation and connectivity requirements, determined a long-term connectivity strategy, calculated the necessary investments, and setup a detailed roadmap – resulting in less operator lock-in, increased flexibility and significant connectivity cost savings.
What we learned? Connectivity strategy is complex – and your options depend on a lot of factors: From your control over the connectivity hardware to your connectivity use cases.
Mobile Consumer IoT
The business potential of mobile consumer IoT is still largely untapped. In this project, we ideated on possible strategies of entering this market, and implementing new consumer IoT business models for a global MNO. In a purely customer-centric approach, we identified a relevant set of Mobile Consumer IoT connectivity use cases, estimated their value-add for the end-user and evaluated their willingness-to-pay for connecting this use case.
What we learned? Every non-FMCG consumer product has at least one IoT use case – and customers are are willing to pay for their connectivity.
